RPES BSP Investiture 2024
The Boy Scouts of the Philippines successfully held the Investiture Ceremony on November 21, 2024, with the participation of Kid Scouts, Kab Scouts, and Boy Scouts, together with their respective Scout Masters. The program started with the opening remarks of Ms. Karen I. Maceda, who highlighted the significance of scouting in developing leadership, discipline, and character among the youth. The Kid Scouts, led by Scout Master Ace M. Soledad, were formally welcomed into the scouting movement as they begin their journey of learning basic values of responsibility and camaraderie. Likewise, the Kab Scouts, under the guidance of Scout Master Bernette B. Bacong, participated with great enthusiasm, showing commitment to uphold the ideals of honesty, loyalty, and respect. The Boy Scouts, headed by Scout Masters Jobert M. Manlongat, Aljon Diolola, and John Mark Balbin, displayed discipline and readiness to take on greater responsibilities as they pledged to live by the Scout Oath and Law. The investiture became a meaningful event that strengthened the bond between scouts, leaders, parents, and the community, while inspiring the new members to fully embrace the values of scouting. Overall, the activity was a success, achieving its purpose of formally inducting the scouts and instilling in them the spirit of service, leadership, and good citizenship.
